2019 : Opening Ceremony of Halal Korean Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur
KUALA LUMPUR : Gangjungene restaurant, a collaboration between Malaysian and South Korean investors, opened its sixth restaurant outlet, offering halal South Korean food. Deputy Entrepreneur Development Minister Y.Bhg Datuk Mohd Hatta Ramli expressed hope that the Korean Halal food with a touch of Malaysian taste, could expand its food outlet chain to South Korea in future to promote Malaysian culture and cuisine globally.
“More Malaysian tourists are visiting Korea and vice versa, so such food will be in demand with Malaysians’ high level of interest in Korean food,” he said after the launch of Gangjungene restaurant and entrepreneur training centre here yesterday. Mohd Hatta said the government would continue to support prospective entrepreneurs in their business ventures. “We will help them as much as possible in the effort to make Malaysia an entrepreneurial nation in line with the government’s aspiration,” he said.
