Our Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mr Kwon Nam Chel has a successful career as a food consultant in Korea and with over 20 years of experience in food product development, he was instrumental in the establishment of several restaurants in Malaysia. Being credited for his involvement in opening the very first Halal Korean restaurant in Malaysia, various prominent artistes and entrepreneurs applauded his efforts and commitment towards respecting the Malaysian culture and traditions to produce Halal Korean food for people of all races in Malaysia. His aim is to create awareness not only in Malaysia, but globally, in the uniqueness of authentic Korean food, which are produced using fermented condiments, notable for creating a harmony of flavours. Korean food is expanding its presence around the world and Korean cuisines are now rising as a new Asian taste in the global food scene.

 

Kwon’s vast experience in experimental process to create new flavours had led him to produce various Sauces which are used for meat, chicken and seafood cuisines, as well as for dipping for snacks and fast food variety. In collaboration with his expert Chef in Korea, he had produced over 200 original sauce recipes.

In addition to food business, he had also diversified his business to promoting original Korean Cookware in Malaysia, working in partnership with various prominent Malaysian entrepreneurs.

As a foreign entrepreneur in Malaysia, language barrier being the major problem, Kwon had settled down and adjusted well with the lifestyle and Malaysian culture. With high spirits, he is also exploring plans to provide more opportunities to young entrepreneurs to train and encourage to start a professional career in Korean food business to create more innovative ideas.
